Parade of Whales

Celebrate the whales and the sea in this fun-filled parade! This hometown Kihei parade begins at Alanui Keali’i Drive, proceeds north along South Kihei Road, and ends at the big whale statue in Kalama Park. It's the official kick-off to Pacific Whale Foundation's Whale Day Celebration! The public is invited to watch -- or to participate. Families, friends, civic groups, school classes, musicians, dancers, gymnasts, horseback riders, bicyclists and others are invited! Whether you're a big group or want to parade solo, this is a celebration for everyone!

The 2011 Parade of Whales will take place on Saturday, February 19, 2011. Please check back here for more details to be added soon!
